Mountain Standard

The menu posted outside Mountain Standard listed shrimp & grits and deviled eggs. This was the best sight to see as we walked through Vail Village looking for fun. There were many hurdles to hurdle before sealing the dining deal at Mountain Standard yesterday. Besides no one else wanting to have lunch at Mountain Standard, the hostess told us the kitchen was closing in exactly ten minutes....

Sissy’s Southern Kitchen & Bar

This visit to Sissy's was exactly what we had always hoped for. The first time our family attempted to have lunch we were--- denied. We did look like sweaty grease balls when we walked in without a reservation that piping hot afternoon way back when, but we didn't expect the hostess to be somewhat of an all-star snob. Even though we wanted the deviled eggs so much it hurt that day, the hostess...

Remedy

Remedy is located on Greenville Avenue, which should quickly be considered a big deal. Even though I still get lost around Dallas, I can tell this neighborhood has become the bomb. The first thing that can be classified as exciting is finding out Remedy's menu has deviled eggs and a grilled cheese sandwich listed. There's so much fluff here and there about how great executive chef Danyele...

Remedy’s Menu is My New Best Friend

Remedy began dinner service this past Friday and will soon begin serving lunch. This is the first place I've been excited about in a long time. The menu has deviled eggs, a grilled cheese sandwich, as well as shrimp and grits. What more could anyone ask for? Dessert, that's what. Please believe that the dessert menu is just as mouth-watering as the dinner menu. This place is going to be crazy...

Stampede 66

Stampede 66 has cautiously opened its doors for lunch. The bartender said they have been careful to only seat a certain number of people until things are super smooth. Smooth service is exactly what happened during lunch last week. The guys at the bar are as good as it gets. Let's face it--- eating is much safer while sitting at the bar. I'm wondering why valet is free during dinner, but costs $5...
