My name is Ashli Michelle and I’m a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu in Dallas. I also have a BA in History from Coastal Carolina University. After teaching at St. Edward Catholic School for 9 years, I became a food writer in Houston and Dallas.

I’m now five years cancer free with a new outlook on life. Tennis has changed me for the better. With the game of tennis, family and friends, everything about life seems brighter than ever before.

The new and improved Almost Veggies is a more personal path to writing about what’s truly important while making memories.

Almost Veggies is dedicated to the memory of my brother, Executive Chef Dave— the best chef I know.
