After being told we were meeting loads of people at The Skellig for brunch, I quickly asked Google what to expect. Google promised skellig is some kind of rock from the sea. Three extra minutes of deeper detective work uncovered that skelligs are actually a group of rocks near Ireland. Pubs and Ireland go together, so The Skellig is a sensible pub name. This is how I feel, so it must be true....

The best way to start talking about a restaurant experience is to be positive. If there's something negative, waiting is the right thing to do. The very best news ever was finding out Yolk has a tuna melt. The tuna is served on whole grain toast on top of a tomato loaded with cheddar cheese. Remedy is located on Greenville Avenue, which should quickly be considered a big deal. Even though I still get lost around Dallas, I can tell this neighborhood has become the bomb. Our brand new 4th grade neighbor suggested we have brunch this past Sunday at JJ's Café in Lake Highlands. They have a buffet for $10, which should make everyone happy. White Rock Lake is a big lake near our address in Lake Highlands. My thoughtful husband took me for a tour of this lake the very same day we moved to Lake Highlands recently.
