Green House Market

frontLocated inside Northpark Center, Green House Market feels exactly like it sounds. Inside and out, this place is filled with fast, fresh, healthy food along with a wonderful atmosphere to boot. The food is “modern farm-to-table featuring locally sourced proteins and produce.” Green House market even has craft beer and we all know cool people love to hear a place has a variety of craft beer selections. I still have no idea what is up with craft beer. Please, do not tell anyone.

Looking for grilled cheese and egg salad sandwiches, as well as tomato basil soup were a major part of daily life while fighting cancer. Different people crave different things after a day at the doctor, but these are just a few that hit the spot every single time. Don’t forget about the sadly under-rated champion… tuna melt. Tuna melts and chemo equally played a part in saving my life this past year. We should all bow down to a properly delivered tuna melt sandwich.

Luckily, foursquare is helpful in finding specific foods using their app. Type in which dish you fancy and let foursquare do the work. A list of restaurants will pop up on the screen to help guide all hungry people to the nearest restaurant with the particular dish in which you wish.

I had never even heard of Green House Market before attending a media preview of Pirch a while back. Green House Market provided food for the event, so I decided to check them out afterward. They have tons of healthy food to choose from at the counter unless you would rather have a seat and check out the menu.

The guy waiting on me was so nice it felt like we were high school BFFs catching up on life after childhood. This guy was not messing around with his serving skills either. Do not expect regular water from Green House Market. They deliver cucumber water, which should excite everyone all over the place. Even though there wasn’t an actual cucumber floating in my water, the honest server promised this water was indeed cucumber water, so I believed him. lv Sitting outside seemed like a good idea since the Louis Vuitton store could be seen from the patio table. This was bittersweet since a criminal stole my Louis Vuitton purse at Trinitiy Groves long ago. All of the repressed stolen Louis Vuitton feelings flooded through my brain even though I’m not superficial, a socialite, or a $30,000 millionaire. This is a fact because I had to ask Google how to spell Louis Vuitton a couple of years ago. I probably would spell it wrong right now if it could not clearly be seen in the above picture pictured. Having a picture is better than spell-check.

Sometimes un-superficial-non-socialites still want to have a fancy purse. This doesn’t mean these people are awful, like the South Carolina comment troll living at the bottom of my Luke’s Lobster article thinks. Having someone steal your Louis Vuitton purse from a restaurant at Trinity Groves is a first world problem, OK? He is going to comment those exact words without realizing I’m aware of this. It’s just a purse that was stolen. There are so many things wrong with the world, so a person feeling sad for four minutes about a Louis Vuitton purse being gone forever is apparently making a bad choice. Pause. soupclose

Talking about food is the right thing to do at this point. Egg salad sandwiches come and go, but the egg salad at Green House Market isn’t one to soon forget. Everything about this sandwich was egg salad at its finest. Ordering the grilled cheese and tomato soup was a no-brainer that did not disappoint. Besides having beyond fresh food, Green House Market has a cart that is more than a basic cart sitting around the corner of their restaurant. This cart sells different items of deliciousness to those rushing around who want to grab something fast. If healthy is what you want, Green House Market is the place to go.
