Until recently, it seemed boring to write about Chamberlain’s Steak & Chop House. It’s not new or relevant to anything anyone doesn’t already know. These feelings changed after finding out about an underground secret dining event, even though this semi-event was above ground and is probably some kind of club.
Please do not tell anyone, but we received a call from our favorite waiter who informed us the crispy lobster tail with Asian dipping sauce was none other than– half price. Something was happening on the down low. There were no details other than the food was half off of the original price– right then and there. We had no choice but to drive to Chamberlain’s as fast as the maximum speed limit would allow.
This fried lobster creation is kind of like Perry’s off-the-menu fried lobster masterpiece in The Woodlands. Chamberlain’s crispy lobster tail is “market price” which translates into—sucker. After a full blown investigation, we found this lobster of complete crispy perfection to cost a whopping $70– brutal. Who pays this? Rich people, that’s who. Take $70 divided in half and the deal has been sealed. We can handle $35 without feeling violated. Maybe other commoners need to make friends with the waiters at Chamberlain’s Steak & Chop House so they can get inside-fried-lobster-scoop next time.
