Any human dissatisfied with Bolsa Mercado, hands down, possesses a status of insatiable. It is what it is and that is just so happens to be outstandingly fabulous. Complainers beware, for there is only one valid complaint warranting anguish. This would be the shocking revelation that a person sharing the very community table in which we sit, is wearing none other than a… bluetooth.
No. Not the bluetooth. Anything but the bluetooth. People wearing the bluetooth slash hands free anything while walking, sitting, or breathing should be arrested. Plain & simple. I’m sorry. Um, it’s even more horrific to witness a bluetooth wearer wearing the bluetooth while not even using their phone. Knock it off. Pinky please.
Bolsa’s concept is quite simple. Super fresh grocery store feel with an ability to satisfy anyone on a whim. Sit & eat? Sure. Run in? Run out? Certainly. Fill your wine cellar or fridge in an instant? No problem. It’s a beautiful thing when market fresh comes together with all necessary to seal the dining deal, whether it be at home or on site.
Mosey on up to the counter to have your order taken with a wink & a smile. Really. She is quite pleasant. True story. Carnivore lovers rejoice, Bolsa Mercado’s breakfast menu houses a country ham & egg muffin with grilled onions and Gouda which will surely hit the spot.
Wait. Let us pause for a moment to once again broaden our knowledge of one more pork product… What does it take to change the status of an every day regular ham from just regular ham to the much snazzier… country ham?
After a full blown investigation, Google maintains the following pork product information to be fact:
“Country hams are not fully cooked, but preserved by the cure. Country hams are salt cured for one to three months, then aged for several months to 2–3 years, depending on the fat content of the meat. Whole hams may need to be scrubbed and soaked for several hours before eating to remove the salt cure and mold. Some eaters of country ham scrub, scrape, or pare off the outer crust of curatives, slice it, pan fry it, and eat it as is. Country ham is often served in restaurants as an entree as a whole slice, often with the femur cross-section left in.”
Femur cross section? Sounds super delish! Like Christmas morning, the femur of a pig just sends the warm fuzzies flourishing throughout all stomach lining, ultimately shooting all the way to one’s heart. Seconds please.
Two other sections exist, with the first being sandwiches. House smoked turkey resting snug as a bug between village bakery ciabatta with avocado spread, sharp cheddar, pepper relish, bacon, and arugula. Bolsa Mercado also offers a Texas pimento cheese sandwich inside village sourdough with sunflower sprouts.
The world’s freshest Greek salad is surrounded by yellow peppers, kalamata olives, and feta cheese in a lemon parsley dressing. Also listed is the soba noodle salad with cucumber & carrots in a sesame seed dressing. Bolsa also offers a spinach salad, as well as a roasted beet salad with orange, capri royale goat cheese, and pumpkin seed brittle.
Another sandwich is the Mercado chicken salad beneath village bakery multi grain bread with roasted grapes, celery, and walnuts. The last two sandwiches are house made pastrami and the always exciting la quercia prosciutto.
Ah, dessert. Cake balls. That’s right. Each consumer’s choice of balls are as follows… chocolate balls, anise vanilla balls, and lime balls.
Bolsa Mercado’s brownie pie is super sorda rich with a melt in your mouth crunchy crust.
Chocolate croissant confirms the fact that all must surrender to all that is Bolsa. We have no choice.
Bolsa Mercado is an asset to the art district. A real go getter. A ruffle your feather kinda pip in your skip giver. Like. Get in your car, only stopping for red lights, pedestrians, senior citizens, or children, before racing across town to pamper the very inner core of your being. A debacle of joy will inevitably become one with all.
